"Dream of the Mountain" is a spacious, tastefully decorated home on almost 6 waterfront acres
on Kootenay Lake, just 10 km south of Kaslo, B.C.
This very private and unique setting on it's own 6 acre forested bluff results in amazing viewscapes
both to the Purcell Mountain range to the east and the length of Kootenay Lake to the south.
From the pebble beach below us you can swim, kayak, fish.
Because our home is on a peninsula, at the end of a cul-desac road, there is lots of sun exposure, and we do not hear the traffic noise that most waterfront homes in the Kootenays have to put up with.
Below the house, on the rocks right above the water, is our 300 sq ft self-contained studio.
Within a range of 30 km you can choose from any kind of adventure: hike to the Alpine meadows, walk thru a river canyon, watch grizzly bears feed...
